Mortgage here. Two bedroom house with a garage apartment that is a separate unit (that we don't rent out). Mortgage is $750 a month.

Fuck I'm so jealous of people with low mortgages. Everyone I know pays way less for their own house than I pay for a shitty rental. I really missed my chance to own. :(

Curious, what do you do with the garage apartment if you don't rent it out? Is is just for guests or something?

My sister who I lowkey hate (but must be friendly with for the sake of my niblings) lived in for a while with her kids. She moved out like 3-4 months ago to live with her POS boyfriend and it has sat empty since.

I do live in a shit town in Oklahoma so that is one reason why mortgage is so low. We are two stoplights from being a one spotlight town, lol.
