Been on a nostalgia kick lately. I just finished Juniper by Monica Furlong and realized I've never read the others in the series, so I ordered them from ThriftBooks and I have those to look forward to! While I was there I also ordered Pamela Dean's Secret Country books - I've been on the lookout for them in the wild in secondhand bookstores but it's been years with no luck so I gave up and just ordered them.

Oh!! I love those books! Wise Child is my absolute favorite book and it always feels like home to me, and Juniper and Colman expand the world beautifully.

Juniper is chronologically first, then Wise Child and Colman, but Wise Child was written first, with Juniper as a prequel and Colman as a sequel. You're in for such a treat!

So I first read Juniper in 4th grade and rediscovered it as a young adult and have re-read it a couple of times, and all this time I had no idea it was technically second in a series! I am very excited.

Ahh, that's so cool! I grew up reading and rereading Wise Child and only found out there were more as a young adult, so I'd be fascinated to know what it's like knowing so much about Juniper going in!
