I don't really mind the whole "text behind an image" approach to secret making so long as they're legible. But when more than 50% of a word is blocked, that makes it kind of hard to read.

Yeah, can't read the last one. "and CGI, uh, [can't/don't/isn't]. They're weirdly [tame and] and vaguely boring." is the best I got.

I really hate this trend; aesthetics are nice and all but unless there's a transcript it's not more important than legibility

Yeah... I just can't read this secret. Some of the previous ones, I was able to skim and get the general idea (it did kind of annoy me that some text was erased out, even when there was nothing in the foreground that should have been blocking it, though!), but this one doesn't even make sense to me with the words missing. Are you saying practical effects hold up, or don't hold up, or that CGI effects hold up or don't hold up?? That's really relevant to trying to respond to this secret.
