My problem with Buzzfeed Unsolved was always that the one guy was ridiculously, idiotically credulous.

I do think they're a bit TOO ready to believe the "spooky"/"cool" explanation over the "boring" realistic explanations, but credit where credit is due, Aiden is open to changing his mind when presented with new evidence. It was a pleasant surprise to see him go from all in on the Missing 411 stuff to skeptical once he did more research into it.

This sounds like something I might be interested in, thanks! But it does kind of depend on their approach re: skepticism and research. IME, it's rare that podcasters/youtubers approach these topics and go, "Hey actually you guys, the real explanation is something kinda boring, sorry" even when that's the likeliest answer. They know they get more traffic by trying to portray it as a spooky mystery that we can't possibly figure out, etc. etc.

Compared to many I have no dog in this fight, but I rather like how the webcomic Wayne Family Adventures is handling Jason, namely showing us a man who is trying to work through some of the worst PTSD anybody could get, with help from sibs and (in his not-always-good way) his father.

I don't know if the strip will do anything for you, but I think it's handling the Batfam better than DC has for many years now. If you give it a look I'll be curious what you think.

I don't really mind the whole "text behind an image" approach to secret making so long as they're legible. But when more than 50% of a word is blocked, that makes it kind of hard to read.

Dear secret maker - please can you look at the words of the secret you're about to send in and think 'can a person who doesn't know what I'm writing read this?'
Hiding some of the words behind ugly AI images just look stupid and subtracts attention away from whatever the hell you're writing.
