LMAO you're asking people to pay you for your fic? Are you stupid?

No, you don't feel guilt, you're right; you get off on it. You like the attention you get when people want you to finish something, and you like the little thrill of knowing that, because you'll never actually finish it, they'll always be kept waiting. Writing endless WIPs is your kink.

Damn, what even is reading comprehension? They said if they're going to finish a fic that they've lost interest in, it would take something extreme like financial incentive. They did not say "pay me for my fic" -- the unfinished fic is still up, available entirely for the low, low price of free. It's just not getting finished anytime soon.

But I suspect given the tone of several replies in this thread that you're replying up and down just to troll.

Oh no, anon, I mean what I said: OP absolutely gets off on the fact that they disappoint and piss people off.

This is absolutely the vibe I get from OP as well. They are perfectly within their right to abandon almost every fic they write, but the way they've phrased this secret comes across weirdly contemptuous of their readers, and weirdly self-satisfied that they wield the power to disappoint people.
