I totally get that. And I’d be uncomfortable with anyone who had a major impact on history.
I drafted a reply earlier that I had trouble explaining so deleted it. Basically, I’d kill my mother but not until after I was born. Wouldn’t have an impact on the rest of the world in her original lifetime but her kids might have had the chance to grow up happily and maybe have families of their own someday. That would be the only possible impact, if one of us had a kid who later goes on to do something major, or maybe a descendant long down the line. I’d be comfortable with that possibility.

But there’s the paradox issue so I guess it isn’t possible unless I sent an assassin or something.
