I do kind of wonder how long he’s going to stay gone from social media and when/if he’ll come back. Also what could he possibly SAY. You know his tumblr ask box is a dumpster fire now and probably forever.

I like some of his work still, but considering that (at least) one of his victims was a fan, and his tumblr was where he most often interacted with tons of fans, I think it's fine if he loses that access to them. And at in-person events, too, tbh.

If he was telling the truth about being suicidal and not only saying so to manipulate one of his victims into reassuring him that he hadn't actually raped her, I hope he gets help for that away from the public eye, but not as much as I hope he never rapes (or has the opportunity to rape) another person.

IMO his tumblr inbox was probably always a dumpster fire, it's just... a hotter, fiery fire now. Probably. I can't even imagine it because fans on there just seemed super needy and very "notice me senpai" even when he didn't have big projects like Good Omens going. That's one of the reasons why I had such a sinking feeling when the allegations first hit the news. I thought damn, his fans are such an emotionally vulnerable group, they'd be easy targets for a predator.

The accusations, given the source, don't seem to have legs. I'll bet he'll start testing the waters in a few months.

It is only really those on the extremes that are talking about it. The extreme wokeists and anti-wokeists are the two groups united in calling for his head, albeit for different reasons, which is an interesting alliance to be sure. The horseshoe effect at work.
