I am friends with a woman who is in very good shape and she has this body type. Being strong does not mean your waist is straight. Some women naturally have that hourglass shape. Get over yourself.

I’m built like a tank AND I have an hourglass figure. I think this design is a bit extreme but it’s a real body shape that’s actually pretty common. Not every woman into fitness and strength training has a naturally petit build.

I'm fine with the body shape, it's just that the curvature of the armor being so fitted there that throws me off. Especially because it has the extra space on the shoulders to give her more volume. Idk, not a big fan of the armor design. At least it is barreled (even with the titty decorations)?

Body shapes come in such a massive, massive multitude, I don't think it's ever really productive to go "they're built like _, so they should have _." I have a generally small frame, but a customer today made sure to point out that I had "very very broad shoulders" for a girl my size.

There are general rules of thumb that artists might follow when designing characters in terms of bod proportions, but at the end of the day we come in all shapes and sizes.

Yeah, and I'm fat but with an hourglass shape. All my weight is boobs and lower belly. This character doesn't seem particularly extreme to me, though of course curvy armour is always a bit annoying! Have a look at the current Olympians for an awesome range of strong, fit body types!

I think as the people above are pointing out, there is a huge variation in natural body shapes/natural predispositions to body shapes, but I'd also like to add that the figure you end up with often has a lot to do with the exercises you put your body through. Many bodybuilders and fitness models isolate specific muscle groups deliberately to achieve the above aesthetic as it is often considered more desirable/beautiful (especially for women) than the barrel-torso physique.

OTOH, what you're probably thinking of are athletes, who don't have that luxury, and end up with the physique the motions they put their body through imparts to them. I don't know much about WWE, but I assume their stunts involve throws/lifts of their fellow actor, which means they can't isolate specific "aesthetic" muscle groups and need to utilize their core to prevent injury. So, like weightlifters/crossfitters/people who do paid manual labour jobs, they end up with a more utilitarian physique that looks less "ideal" (again, especially for women, but barrel-bodied, straight-up-and-down male strongmen look nothing like V-torsoed bodybuilders either) but is a lot more functional with a disproportionately thick core/smaller limbs.

All this to say, I don't go here, but if the character above is a figurehead leader or a goddess (I assume goddess based on the name of the game?) that is supposed to represent what her people consider an aesthetic ideal, rather than an athlete/labourer, this build makes perfect sense (albeit pretty exaggerated if you imagine how small her waist must be when you remove the bulk of her armour, but that's art for you).

Yeah, if it's one of those littleverse AUs, or if the caregiver dom is already familiar with kink, I can get into it! But if you're just telling me that some ordinary guy in his ordinary setting is going to suddenly fully out-of-his-conscious-control REGRESS to being a toddler, and his partner is going to do all the right things about it, it kind of strains credulity, you know?

Actually, now I want a fic about the point at which a regular canon 'verse BECOMES a littles-are-known AU, see the first 'generation' of people who are suddenly becoming emotionally childlike after performing open heart surgery or fighting a vampire or getting in a wizard battle.

I mean, redeemed!Durge is a fun storyline as a whole but otoh you're not wrong. Then again, I noticed that about a lot of the game now that I know where Larian had to just stop making content and publish - there was so much more potential for Dark Urge, Karlach, Wyll, Gale, and a few others, but the fully finished, polished, nuanced endgames went to Astarion and Shadowheart and that's it. I really wished they'd gone back on their no-DLC policy to round everyone else out.
