I love good reaction videos, especially ones by someone who is knowledgable in the subject. Doctors reacting to medical things, etc. Currently watching a historian's channel. He does a lot of reactions to various historical lists and things from other youtube channels. And he always makes interesting comments that furthers my knowledge on the subject.

Agreed. They're more fun when the person knows the subject, even if they're still critical. Or at least appreciate it.

With fandom reaction videos, I don't expect someone to necessarily know the media, but I'd like them to at least appreciate what it's trying to do. And if you're going to criticize it, at least know what you're talking about. Nothing annoys me more than "I only saw two episodes, but."
