Are there any songs you like by musicians you usually don't like? Or songs you hate by artists whose music you usually love?

The former for a lot of famous radio singles (they chart-topped for a reason); the latter with every artist I love? I thought this was normal - you like a band, but you don't like all of their songs.

Conversely, are there any bands that don't have any songs you don't like? I can't think of a single one.

I guess for the latter I was thinking more of songs you hate. Like, I don't like every song by artists I love, but there aren't too many I actively hate either.

Oh I see, yeah that's a lot rarer. Usually something has a style I'm a fan of or they don't. I'd say that's more common when someone has guest artists: I can't stand "Where'd You Go" by Fort Minor for that reason.

Not an Adele fan, I only like three of her songs: Rolling in the Deep, Easy on Me, and Send My Love.

I've gotten really into the Beach Boys lately. But I like their bouncy, happy stuff. Not a fan of Surfer Girl.

I do like Taylor Swift. But damn do I hate You Belong With Me.

Basically any song where an artist has a kid sing on. Beyonce does this a bunch. Jay-Z. Pink Floyd. Just not a fan.

I love the Spice Girls. Doctor Who got me back into them, thanks. But I'm not a fan of Wannabe. They have much better songs.

I don't like Doja Cat, but I do like Women and Say So.

I've always found Kylie Minogue's voice super grating. But I really liked her most recent single Padam Padam for some reason.

I very much agree with you on Surfer Girl and kids singing.

The only exceptions are the start of Harry Styles As It Was (barely) and Another Brick In The Wall by Pink Floyd.

I've only liked Doja Cat's I'm a Cow for my memes playlist and couldn't stand her other songs.

Its not so much hate, just that I like two songs by Mitski (Washing Machine Heart and Strawberry Blond) and can't really get into the rest.

Not a Taylor Swift fan but I like Anti-Hero, Maroon, Lavender Haze, and Karma.

I like a bunch of her stuff, though not all. But Anti-hero is honestly one of the songs I most relate to of any song ever. So really love it.

I love Fall Out Boy, but I hate “America’s Suitehearts” and I was disappointed that it was the eight ball song at the show I went to.

I like Led Zeppelin a LOT but I never want to hear Stairway again, yes, I know it's their most popular song but not to me it isn't.
Can't stand Madonna but I rather like Beautiful Stranger.

For songs I hate by artists I love, I always ASSUMED I hated Led Zeppelin. I love Led Zeppelin-- I hate Stairway to Heaven!

Personal Jesus as covered by Marylin Manson is rather catchy, even though I'd rather boil myself in oil than meet him.

Marilyn. Man, I can never spell that guy's name correctly.

Sadly I loved their stuff and still find it quite catchy. But omg he is an awful person

Cheap Wine and Cigarettes is the only song by Jess Moskaluke that I like. I just can't stand any other songs of hers, but I LOVE this one.

cowboy by kid rock. also hate a lot of the lyrics in this one but it's catchy and i like the female vocals.

I can't stand Jared Leto but Thirty Seconds to Mars has some bangers so I just pretend it's not him.

I somehow didn't realize he was in that group. They do have some great songs. And yes, he seems like a terrible and incredibly annoying person.

Love/like most of B.A.P.'s title tracks/singles but hate their song Coffee Shop - which is upsetting to me because I love coffee, lol.

Saw a comment wondering if it's possible to love/like every song by an artist - for me yes, yes it is. Finger Eleven is that artist for me. Every song is top tier for me.

Band I strongly dislike is Rush but one song I don't mind is Ghost Of A Chance.

It totally is possible to love every song by an artist. Sabaton is that for me. Love them. I certainly love some more than others. But all their songs are amazing.

I usually find Celine Dion songs Too Much for my tastes, but there is one I really like (blanking on the name) -- turns out it was written by Jim Steinman, who also wrote Bat Out of Hell, and is an overall great songwriter.

I'm really not a fan of Pink Floyd, but I really like Another Brick in the Wall (the whole thing), and, when I'm not in a headspace where it'll induce anxiety, Comfortably Numb.
