Why? What did making fun of a typo add that wasn't covered by pointing out the weird leap of logic of the secret?

I’m sure this has gone over your head, but authors notes are one of the quality indicators for many readers. The authors who constantly beg for comments/write irrelevant or long authors notes on every chapter are the same authors who post fic with many SPAG errors that would be picked up by the most basic spell checker. They also tend to write low quality fic with plot holes or characters that are wildly OOC. (My phone autocorrected that to OOF by the way and I’m howling because it’s not exactly wrong!) It’s fine if you enjoy that but strange to expect everyone else to also enjoy it. I know I’ll read it if there isn’t anything else to read but if there is, I skip those fics.

Write what you want to write. Write how you want to write. Post how you want to post. Read what you want to read. Engage with it how you like so long as you don’t harm the author. It’s all fandom and it’s all welcome.
