I can give the quality a pass, because they're clearly going for "inspired by" and at this point the egregious choices are part of the quirk.

However, what gets me is the corsets. Not for the Tightlacing Trope, but for the fact that they're using corsets that don't make sense for the fashion! Why are you using corsets that pull in at the natural waist when the Regency waistline, the very gowns you're using, is just under the boobs?! You could still have your Tightlacing Trope with Regency-era stays (and it would be even more obviously farcical then!)
