I love that this is the first answer because YES.

honestly I'm of the opinion that a large chunk of the reason the film became/remained a cult classic for so long was because cosplayers at bigger scifi cons kept it alive. There was a huge crowdsourcing movement in the late 00s to get accurate Mangalore costumes going, well before we finally had the resources to accurately do the Diva.

I mean the movie also slaps on its own, and has held up remarkably well.

I will stan The Fifth Element to my dying day (even though creepy!Korbin Dallas sometimes gives me the ick, but Leeloo put him in his place enough times to satisfy me)
