(Anonymous) 2024-07-28 11:50 pm (UTC)(link)Most people don't wonder whether the fat dude with a beard was afab, or the random middle aged lady was amab. Because why would you, unless you're the type of person who wonders about this all the time about everyone?

(Anonymous) 2024-07-28 11:52 pm (UTC)(link)Part of the reason there's such a huge push for puberty blockers is because once someone has gone through puberty, the shape of their body matches their natal sex, and it becomes much, much harder to pass post-transition. The best most people can hope for is for someone to be momentarily confused.

(Anonymous) 2024-07-29 12:07 am (UTC)(link)But look, anon, this isn't about what I believe; this is legitimately a whole, long-standing conversation wrt puberty blockers. Part of the whole point of not going through the "wrong" puberty, of pausing it and getting on opposite-sex hormones instead, is because someone who does so will pass. Transitioning after puberty all but ensures clocking.
