I would in a heartbeat! I can’t handle heat at all. Summer is my off season for hiking unless I can travel somewhere with a colder climate. The end of spring and beginning of autumn are also off limits because it might randomly get summer-hot at any moment.

That's better hiking weather than where I am, which is "be done by 8 am or start at dusk and carry at least a gallon of water per person or risk death" hot and dry.
