I turned down the job offer because it was sort of sus (they were talking a lot about "company loyalty" and casually dropping hints about overtime) and because I had two quite successful interviews. One job promised to get back to me either way on Monday and they didn't. Yeah. The other is probably going to need a bit more time to answer. But I am having full blown anxiety attack right now. I am thinking about dropping my field altogether at this point but I just don't know what I want to do. No ideas AT ALL.

I'm really sorry you're having to deal with this - delays happen all the time in hiring so here's hoping it may just be that Place 1 needs a nudge around Wednesday to give you an answer. Either way, good luck with Place 2, I hope they get back to you soon with a good answer.

I am planning to pressure number 2 a bit so they at least could estimate the time line.
I am counting number 1 as a loss. They said in the interview that they would prefer candidates with couple of skills I don't have. But not getting back is just rude!
