Water most of the time and offer to pay for it as a soft drink if they don’t already charge for it. Sometimes I order a soft drink depending on where I am (coke in America and the local version of lemonade pretty much everywhere in Europe) but I really prefer to just drink water most of the time.

Same here. But I don't really like the taste of alcohol, even in mixed drinks, so I'm frequently the designated driver for (admittedly rare) social occasions. I usually get a pop. Mocktails don't really appeal to me... mostly because of the price. I don't want to stick out or make other people feel self-conscious about my not drinking, though.

It’s pretty rare that anyone ever says anything to me about it. My dad is actually the most likely, he thinks it’s kinda weird that none of his kids ever drink alcohol. But in friend or work groups, no one cares. Everyone is just busy chatting away the whole time.

In that case, seltzer and lime is usually a safe bet.

Usually a cranberry seltzer. Refreshing and bubbly.

Tea. I often go for tea

Virgin Mojito, or whatever mocktails they have on the list (usually only 2-3 so there is not a lot to choose from..)

Generally, Diet Coke/Pepsi/Dr. Pepper or water, but sometimes a brewery will do their own root beer or a bar will have a specialty flavored lemonade, and I will occasionally get something like that.

Love getting a non-alcoholic version of a cocktail. Especially if it's super sugary and frozen. Failing that a non-rum rum & coke works =D

Depends on the place and what's going on - if just a coke seems like the thing to do, and their soft drinks aren't wildly overpriced, then usually just a coke, especially if it's not a place that really does a lot of mixed drinks. Otherwise maybe a Dark n' Stormy hold the rum or a virgin Screwdriver (which sometimes means just orange juice, sometimes means orange juice + sprite or seltzer) - they're both strongly flavored enough that I'm going to drink them as slowly as I would an alcoholic cocktail.

Lemonade is usually my go-to, followed by juice or mocktails if they have them (I do like trying different ones out).
