We know in canon that total sex swap is possible, but pretty sure it's never been addressed in canon that resulting in a male body with a vagina is strictly impossible. We also know that it can alter the traits specific physical parts only, without affecting anything else.

Like yes, it's a reach, if the fic writers want to reach, they can reach without violating canon.

I'm not going to make that reach or read that fic, but I'm also not going to bother shaking my fist and demanding rhetorically whyyyyyyy? /shrug

No, it is violating canon. Which is fine, I guess, but it's okay to just admit it is what it is.

At first I agreed with you, but the more I think about it the more AYRT has a point.

There's not really a reason why Iva's powers shouldn't be able to do a partway transformation. It doesn't make sense that hormones change the biological sex of a person anyway, a halfway transformation makes neither less nor more sense that a full transformation.
