Re: Secrets you don't want to make...

I used to love NerdECrafter.

Her art was done with materials I could get. No 3D printer or expensive machinery in sight. It wasn't perfect, but she clearly loved what she was doing and the pieces had charme.
I know she has health problems and thus switched more to craft kit reviews etc, which was fine. It was still entertaining.

Now everything is "I bought VIRAL fidget toys/mystery boxes/miniatures and here is a thumbnail of me making a :( and pointing at it" and the like. So I kind of stopped watching, but kept following, because it's not her fault she maybe can't craft the same way anymore and maybe there would still be videos that interest me!

About a month ago I finally unfollowed. Not because I gave up or because she kept being sponsored by Raid: Shadowlegends.
But because she started showing things she bought on Temu.
I'm so annoyed by fucking Temu. It's everywhere. At this point everyone knows how bad it is. And yet Youtubers keep doing hauls and those "~I bought it to compare them like the 285028 people before me and hey I'm not sponsored so these are totes useful videos I promise!"- videos.
It's especially galling from a creator who always reviewed those craft kits (and created her own) with her audience in mind.

(Please, this is not about poor people buying from Temu, but an influencer who has more than a million followers. And please do not buy any electric appliances from Temu and (drop shipping) sites like it I'm begging you.)
