What is everyone doing this weekend?

I am visiting my sister since it is her birthday. We are going to her in-laws tomorrow to grill since we have some not as terrible weather.

Praying I don't get hit with jury duty on Tuesday.

I just got a summons yesterday. Grand Jury. Fingers crossed I can get a hardship exemption.

I did Grand Jury awhile back and it was an experience I'm really glad I had, tbh.

Of course I'm in a job where I get paid twice for jury duty leave, that helped.

Me? I'm OP and I'm on standby jury. It's just deciding which cases go to trial.

Probably still recovering from the long drive and unexpectedly stressful (but generally good) visit to SoCal. Also, birthday on Sunday.

I feel that way after every drive. Hope you feel better soon.

Tomorrow is massage and then vet appointment for the kitty. Other than that, continuing my Stargate rewatch.

Yup. Yearly checkup and rabies shot.

Hiking! I joined a local group and have signed up for two different group hike events, one Saturday morning and one Sunday morning. A little bit regretting it because right now I'd really like to sleep in tomorrow, but I know I'll be happy that I went.

Exciting! I live in Oklahoma, so everything is sad and flat. :(

It's a tax free weekend here in Massachusetts. I have to buy a garbage disposal tomorrow so that I can eventually get it installed soon.

Next Monday, we'll all be in Taxachusetts again.

Well my bro and I planned to go to DenFur this weekend but we got the wrong weekend and only figured this when we were at the hotel it was at. Which in retrospect we could have figured just checking the website before we left. Lol embarassing ...

But we got to go to Mellow Mushroom and tomorrow the fam is celebrating his birthday which will be fun. and then Sunday is a lazy day. .

And I have time to print something for the actual con now so I can do some art networking when I'm there.

Oh we didn't book a room but it was a long trip. Thankfully we used public transportation.
