Damn, that makes me a little sad to hear. You're missing out on so much of fandom and so much media. :(

DA
I don't need finding someone attractive to enjoy media.

The way original anon phrased that seems like they can't relate to the characters at all though, and tons of fandom faves and shipping and fic and general fandom enthusiasm is all about 2d characters being more than "just cartoons."

I'd feel the same sadness if some otaku said "I can't find 3d real people attractive," like damn, missing out on sooo much of what fandom and media has to offer! That really sucks for them, my condolences.

Yeah, probably you are right.
I was commenting from a position of someone who doesn't really find cartoons attractive. But I enjoy the variety of fandoms anyway
But tbf I am ace so I don't find a lot of real people that attractive too

I read the original anon as not being attracted to it, not not enjoying it or not being able to relate. It is odd that you equate attraction with relatability.
