1. I understand. It's kind of depressing when that happens, but there's not much you can do. Especially if the series for the fandom is over. I know I used to be a HUGE FMA fan and I thought it'd never be any other way. Now my interest in it is seriously dwindling.

2. I never use a beta for the rare fanfics I write, either. I think a beta is really only necessary if you have bad grammar and spelling and you don't know how to fix it yourself.

8. What are you gonna do about it? There's always gonna be that kind of thing around whether you like it or not. It sucks, but as long as people realize there's a line between fanon and canon I have no problem with whatever they decide to write.
