What is everyone doing?

New season of Fortnite is out! Marvel related so I am excited. So will be playing a bunch of that this weekend. Still trying to motivate myself to crochet.

Lord of the Rings Extended rewatch. And going to the Apple store on Sunday to repair computer and ipod.

I hope they are able to get whatever is wrong is fixed!

I think so. Decided I needed happy and hopeful this weekend.

...Might go see Trap this weekend. Might make it a double feature with Cuckoo if I'm feeling ambitious.

Sounds like a good double feature. Cuckoo looks like the better movie.

A friend just got me to try Fortnite (he told me I could play RockBand via and I was in). I have never felt so old lol so many of the games confuse the heck out of me. Though I do enjoy the battle royale, even if I'm shit at it.

I only play no build. The build version is too hard for me. But yeah, ton of mini games to play (racing, lego, rockband).

I'm currently into the first day of my three day weekend. Got some shopping done for food and household items, and did a bit of winding down from an insane work week. For the remainder of the weekend. Been pushing myself to work on fic I've already outlined so I hope to progress on that. And also hope to stop slacking on musical projects too.

A three day weekend is awesome. What kind of musical projects are you doing?

I sign up for internet collabs from time to time. Nothing big but I enjoy making covers.

Sorry about the misfire; didn't realize folks would reply before it got removed!

frantically trying to finish several props for our DragonCon costumes. I have a full week but 2 large "guns" to finish (mostly cardboard and foam), a pair of foam swords, a Necronomicon, and two wigs to style, plus god knows how much hand-sewing to put on snaps, velcro, etc.

D: That is so much! Is it all for you or also for others? I'd love to see the finish costumes. Cosplay craft is amazing to me.

my partner and I, so only two of us but even so.

I'm excited for DragonCon but at the same time we both feel so rusty and overwhelmed, like how did we used to be able to finish 6 costumes every convention with only 2 months lead, this time we had a year and still had to drop several plans for lack of time.

hopefully we'll get some good photos at least! I'll happily share afterward if all goes well.

Lots of paperwork unfortunately. I'm hoping to get most of it done today and Saturday so I can relax a little on Sunday.

Sadly I need to do some work for a bit.
I am planning on cleaning the flat a bit and changing bedsheets. Hate changing them but it's been more than two weeks.
Going to a small local tour about architectural restoration. The guide is a really cool person, I like her.
Also want to go to an exhibition, I've been putting it off for one reason and other and now it's ending. Guh. Planning to go to a fair because my friend is there working so I want to see them.
And I am having games morning.
(lol I am writing it here before I forget instead of my planner)

That's a busy weekend! Is the exhibition at the fair? Or in a different area?

Getting ready for my trip next week. First time travelling alone, to a city don't now. Not sure how it's going to feel doing all the touristy stuff on my own for a few days.

I'm both looking forward to it and dreading it a little bit lol.

I actually like doing touristy stuff alone but I have awful anxiety so planning stages are something else
