It might not be because of your ships that you're getting hate, it may be how you talk about and present your ships. You can have het ships of queer characters and it's fine, but if you present it as "the way it should be" or that anything else is sad or gross then yeah, the hate will be there.

People can ship whatever they want in whatever fandom, but there are ways to do it.
