I have the completely un-backed-up impression that a lot of the Hazbin Hotel hate comes from bitter Owl House fans who blame it for the fact that they can't go get more of what they like, because a lot of the fandom moved there so whenever they say they want more Owl House, people point them toward Hazbin Hotel instead.

This may be entirely wrong but it's a vibe I've picked up second hand.

I’m in the Owl House fandom and I’ve barely ever seen anything about Hazbin Hotel there. Most of the shows that get pushed for us to watch next are whatever is newest on Disney at the moment.

NAYRT
I'm in the Owl House fandom, too. Same here. I noticed pretty much zero overlap there.

I've seen waaaaay more migration to Hazbin Hotel from My Hero Academia's fandom. Almost every old MHA fan I'm following are either on Dungeon Meshi or Hazbin Hotel now.

It is, unironically, that Vivz is a queer woman with a last name (Medrano) that doesn't sound white.
