Favorites: Steven Hawking on Next Generation, most of Stan Lee's cameos, basically every cameo in Zoolander, that bit at the beginning of Thor 3 where Chris Hemsworth's brother plays Thor in a play, Robin Williams on SVU (oh wow, amazing), Martin Sheen on SVU (also amazing), Karate Kid actors on HIMYM, Tim Gunn on HIMYM.

Worst: Britney Spears in HIMYM (and any other cameo she's done), Ed Sheeran on Game of Thrones, any cameo Trump has ever done, any time a director(besides occasionally Branagh) decides to cameo in their own movie (looking at you, Tarentino and Shyamalan).

Even the Hitchcock cameos? (Roger Corman has had funny cameos in other people's movies-- usually ones by people he mentored when they were up-and-comers).

Anyway, for a rather obscure cameo that amused me, the sketch comedy Amazon Women on the Moon has Russ Meyer as the proprietor of a shop that sells/rents adult videos.

Oh, and Yul Brynner's appearance in The Magic Christian.

Honestly, I don't know regarding Hitchcock. I think his movies are good, but I also think he was such a terrible person I have a hard time feeling positive about him in general.

Yeah, he got pretty twisted in his later years; that said, I still think his cameo in Lifeboat is rather clever.

Wasn't Britney the Oh Honey ep? My friend and I quote that one all the time.

That was Katy Perry, Britney Spears played Stella's assistant. Katy Perry fit the role, Britney's cameo felt like a waste.

Stan Lee's cameo where he's rifling through records ignoring the battle in the background

DA

I positively looooove Stan Lee cameos. Especially the Irving Forbush ones. They are so incredibly funny!

Favorites: David Bowie in Zoolander!, Jimmy Buffet in Jurassic World, John Hurt in Spaceballs, Alex Trebek in X-Files "Jose Chung's From Outer Space"

Least fave: Quentin Tarentino in From Dusk Till Dawn because you know that creep wrote that foot scene with Selma Hayek on purpose so he could be a creeper

Trebek in X-Files was a fun one!

It was just so unexpected at the time, and hilarious. I guess I should also mention Jesse Ventura as a Man in Black, that was pretty funny, too.

Favorites: Bill Murray in Zombieland, Chris Evans in Free Guy, Jessica Hynes in Shaun of the Dead, Suzanne Pleshette in Newhart

Least favorite: Trump in Two Weeks Notice, and Home Alone 2

One of my favorite cameos in recent memory is from Three Wishes for Cinderella (2021/2022 version). Kristofer Hivju (Tormund from Game of Thrones) randomly shows up and pees in front of Cinderella, who is disguised as a huntsman at the time.
