I prefer Joel but I also feel like the writing and production was generally sharper during the Mike seasons, so.

Really they're both great!

I think that’s because Mike was able to write better for himself than he could for Joel, knowing exactly how he’d deliver lines as he wrote them.

Some of that but I also think the Sci-fi Channel seasons just had higher production values.
