DA, but I agree entirely. He was so handsome as the beast. And they present his turning into this flat-faced prince as the highlight of the movie! It's not even a guy with an interesting face, the face of someone who used to be cruel and then lived with a curse that exiled him from human company. It's just ... nondescript as heck. One hour after the movie finished, I couldn't have brought to mind what that man looked like when he wasn't a beast. And we're supposed to believe a woman who couldn't stand the dullness of normal, provincial life liked him better that way? They really did not think that one through.

I have pretty standard tastes in looks. I guess the closest thing would be villains, although I personally don't think there is anything wrong with finding a fictional villain hot. But a lot of people disagree.

Also, certain voices will just do it for me. Like, Jason Isaac is hot as Lucius, Tavington, or Hook. He's less physically hot as Lorca, but his voice still gets me every time.

One thing that caught my attention was that there's a ... thinness of face ... a very particular "wolfish" look that was sort of the archetype for what a villain looked like in stories for a long time. And it often gets combined with an androgynous look that I guess other people find disconcerting, but I find very attractive.

I guess some villains? I also do like some monster fuckery as the above anon said. I don't really know what I shouldn't find hot because generally I can find tons of fic for it. So it must be popular with some people. Lol.

I give all of zero fucks about what anyone else thinks people "shouldn't find hot." Except that (when the author agrees), stories often go around burying the characters that I would ship forever, before they finish. Pity, that, but fandom's always been the place where I could find people who blatantly ignore who canon killed and ship as they please. It's so nice.
