I dislike Paimon as well. She's not anywhere near as bad in CN voice as this atrocious screetchy mess in EN but I dislike her attitude and how she's the reason the Travellers barely speak themselves.
Not sure about the CN lines for Ajaw being better though because I don't speak Chinese and the English text tends to be dubtitles rather than actual translations/the English translations for the game tend to be pretty lacking from what I've seen CN native speakers report. He doesn't sound nearly as bad but that's about the most positive thing I can say about it.

AYRT Yeah, I can't know either. I can just easily imagine Ajaw's lines sucking less in the language he was originally written in, and I know from experience translating between other languages that I do speak that getting a character's sense of humor across accurately, especially when it's underhanded and mean, can take a lot more time and effort to get right than when they're presenting themselves in a more straightforward way.
