That sounds like a really fun weekend. I love organizing tools for my interests. I've always wanted to go hiking since I love taking hour long walks around my neighborhood when the weather is nice. But I don't really know where to start, lol.

The National Park system has scenic and recreation areas all over, plus there are national forests and also BLM sites. When I move, I always google “pretty hiking places near [new town]” and then start picking from there.
