Straight men that list themselves as "not political" on dating sites.

That either means "I'm fine with the status quo" or "I'm conservative, but I know if I say that, women will run from me."

For me I'd broaden that to everyone, not just straight men. There is no such thing as "not political" in this day and age and to say so is either incredibly ignorant, lazy, or secretly conservative. Or all three.

Agreed. Even if it's not code for "I'm a MAGA head but I know women will find that a red flag", I'm American. You can't not be political these days because refusing to acknowledge the toxic trashfire of insanity in American politics is either being lazily apathetic and not caring about women's rights, etc. or you're just an idiot.

Can a person care about women's rights but also care about closing the borders and not wanting antisemitism to dominate their country?
