Ugg, see, I always want to point out that there is a difference between Ephebophilia and Paedophilia. Because there is! Being attracted to a 16 year old, while gross (if you're over, say, 18), is a VERY different kind of gross than being attracted to a 6 year old. (If you're, say, anyone ever.) Like. Fuck, words fucking matter! Being able to say someone is a threat to toddlers is important! And being able to say someone is a creep to teenagers is also important but very different!!!!! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

But also I get it, because the people who bring it up unprompted are pretty unanimously ick.

It is generally a red flag when people try to argue gross or trauma olympics.

I'm pretty sure that saying something is a different kind of gross is the opposite of the gross olympics.
