Re: San Fransisco vs NYC

I have only been to San Francisco and it was in October (many years ago) and it was so lovely. We stayed right by Chinatown and the food was incredible. The hills are insane tho so if you have any mobility issues be forewarned. There are better art museums in New York, obviously, but there are lots of niche museums in SF that are neat (Alcatraz was my favorite). The public transportation was easy to get on to and around on. It was a great city and I'd love to go back. The Haight-Ashbury district felt so special to babyqueer me.

My sister does have mobility issues. Did the public transit seem adequate to help with that? She just has hip issues if she walks to long.

I mean I use a cane and the hills were just murder going up OR down but the buses and trollies ran at all hours and got us to majority of the places we wanted to go?

Okay, that's good!

(Anonymous who recommended the Exploratorium)

The cable cars and Muni should help with that (it's being in a wheelchair that can be trouble, as a late friend of mine lamented).
