I have a bunch of fannish friends who have become my Facebook friends (so basically pen pals). A couple are from Minnesota, and we all love their posts about going to State Fair. Especially the bonkers food! I went to Srate Fair of Texas back when I lived in the US and that was cool, but the Minnesota State Fair just seems like it's on a whole other level. I would LOVE to attend it someday!
