Absolutely not.

Like, on the one hand, I wish we could talk about this phenomenon more than we do at present. And I wish there were more content for people who weren't into that.

But at the end of the day, the reason this happens so often is because so many people like it so much. And more power to em, they aren't doing a thing wrong by having those preferences even if I personally think it's boring.

I dunno. They aren't doing anything wrong, necessarily, but there is a broader conversation that could be had about the fact that the feminine role in a relationship continues to be viewed as ideally involving submission to the masculine.

Is this the broader conversation around this topic? Nobody mentioned submission. Also, romance heroines are not exactly all submissive ...
