It can be for a myriad of reasons.

I feel bad that I am bothered by my younger siblings' BO/stench because I know it's a mix of neglected upbringing, undiagnosed neurodivergency, and depression.

I was raised in the same household. It took me until I hit my 20s to get better at managing my personal hygiene.

I actually don't know how to have a discussion with my siblings about it, because I know a lot of it stems from shame and helplessness. I don't want them to think I'm shaming them, and I know bringing it up will automatically have them feeling really bad and I think it'd just make things worse, even if I told them that I don't want to shame and that I genuinely want to help.
