Sad that I don't even remember him being in Iron Man 2, and I own the damn movie! I guess that's about the level of interesting I've always found him.

I don't either. I honestly can't tell if I'd drifted so far from American canons by the time he started popping up in new stuff that I just saw very little of him, or he just made no impression, but I couldn't even place who he was from pictures when people were flipping out about his buying the company formerly known as Twitter.
