Right? Like, it was mostly a matter of marketing/timing and when to endorse for maximum effect (not too close to the elections so it doesn't seem like an afterthought but not too long before them to have been forgotten about again) and not whom she would endorse but some people are acting like they actually expected her to be a secret Trump stan. I'm not even a fan of hers but the extent some people go to to villainise her is kind of ridiculous.

While I do feel a little embarrassed because I feel like the target audience is much younger, it is mostly unfortunate for me because there isn't really a story or characters for me to sink my teeth into. I like fic and fandom with my hyperfixations and Fortnite seems to be just about the gameplay for me.

While I'm here...do you have any creator games to recommend? I've mostly stuck to the official games - Zero Build and the Festival ones are my current obsessions.

I will have to check them out! The Blue Castle is one of my favorite books, but I could never get into any of her other works. I adore the old Anne mini series (the ones with Megan Follows), but the books never did it for me.

It always bugged me that Westeros is clearly based on Britain and the Wars of the Roses, but the characters act like Westeros is an entire continent and deeply isolated and leaving it is completely unthinkable and the entire rest of the world is too distant and different to survive in. Even in the 15th century that was very much not how England related to the rest of the world and it clearly isn't in Asoiaf canon either, and yet the plot depends on characters acting like it is.
