[Pills That Make You Green]

OP, I'm pretty sure I'm more aware of this comic than most people on here and I'm still not sure what you're talking about?

It feels unfair to specify what was in the deleted comics, because the artist decided they were a bad idea. I’m just mad.

da

Why on earth should the artist deciding to delete something prevent you from talking about the fact that they did it in the first place? If they put it online for everyone to see, and you're having feelings about it ... well, none of us anons who don't know who the green sticks are can talk to you about the thing if you don't explain what happened. And I could be wrong, but I'd suspect that's most people on Fandom!Secrets.

I guess

She later said the deleted comics were supposed to be about listening to other minorities when they talk about the problems they have. I interpreted them as saying trans men are accepted by patriarchy and don’t get beaten up by bigots like trans women do, an argument that was going around at the same time. I still think her framing sucks, and it made me notice other comics where she talked over people and said they didn’t really experience what they said they experienced.

I can definitely see why that would annoy you. I don't think I've ever run into a trans-man who's treated enough like a cis guy would be that they could reasonably be accused of benefiting from the patriarchy.

Also, if the person writing the comic is a trans woman (I'm guessing from your referring to her), I don't see how drawing something about "are trans men privileged?" counts as listening to the complaints of some other minority.

...do people not remember Brandon Teena or something?

IDEK what this is.

Apparently a Tumblr cartoon about someone taking pills that turn them green, as an analogy for people taking cross-sex hormones. It's friendly to trans people, I think. Upthread the OP explained more - the TV tropes page someone linked to was vague enough that people weren't understanding what had happened.

I think the secret-maker may have just had to pick an image, though, because the secret doesn't seem to have anything to do with anarcho-caninists or the other background stuff in the picture.

This was my attempt to illustrate “really funny.”

Incredibly online leftists arguing with each other, mostly.

Very realistic!
