I don't think that would be okay, but I can certainly see why you would be fed up with such an animal.

Having looked somewhat into the holy war some animal rights activists seem to be waging on the eating of dog meat in Asia (not because of any of this), street vendors seem to favor roasting. And specialized breeds of dogs with short legs and pot-bellies.
