She's gorgeous. I was under the impression that the Rings of Power cast was larger than just one person, though. Likely OP is talking about the not-so-gorgeous cast members.

But it also has a Celebrimbor that looks like an old human other than his ears. I love the show, and I love how they are doing Celebrimbor character-wise, but his look is just wrong.

One halfway decent cast doesn't save a whole show full of potatoes and especially the male elves are horribly miscast and mis-styled, one and all.

Yeah, that was an issue in the movies, too. It's tough finding that level of androgynous beauty (as opposed to more typical western male good looks that aren't necessarily androgynous or elven-like) in male actors who can still act.

The styling in the movies was better for the most part though. I'm not saying they all need to have long flowing hair (though it would be kinda lore accurate) but shit like RoP Elrond's weird surfer dude hick mullet in training mashup is not it.

Wow. You couldn't be more wrong. The casting of male elves is spot on. Elrond is straight out of the books, Celebrimbor, Gil-Galad and Cirdan also fit perfectly. And Arondir is on a whole other level - you'd thing Ismael Cruz Cordova is an irl elf with how well he embodies one.

As for their looks, they should look aged. These are people who've been around for hundreds, some even over a thousand, of years and they've survived wars and other misery. Wold anyone be able to take their backstories seriously if they looked barely out of their teens?
Also, I'm glad they tried something different with their looks instead of the tired, boring trope of "elves with long hair", it gives the characters personality.

Uhm. Respectfully no. Hard disagree, on all counts. Also, as I said, didn't have to be long hair all around but the styling is just bad.
