No, you didn't say that exactly - but I think replying to someone whose comment boiled down to "that sounds miserable to live like that! These random strangers didn't hurt you. You deserve to get help so you don't have to be miserable all the time, because children are not going anywhere" with "people seem repulsed by these strong feelings". I feel like that's a pretty disingenuous take towards the comment you chose to reply to, which is why I said something. There are definitely others in this thread I wouldn't agree with necessarily.

To vaguely answer, my trauma began at age 11 and it repeated until I was 13. It was absolutely "formative" in the sense that the severity of it dictated (and ruined) the majority of my life. I've got nothing but sympathy for OP, but random kids & pregnant people aren't the ones who hurt them, and I think it's fair for people to give that reminder.
