Amazon being filthy rich doesn't necessarily translate to them being generous with pay, though. I haven't seen much of Rings of Power, but I'm guessing it uses a lot of British actors, not big names? Yeah, sounds about right. Netflix does the same, tries to get bang for their buck by casting actors who aren't famous on a Hollywood level, but have some solid training. You won't always get supermodel looks when you do that. My guess is they're trying to save money.
