They don't know what twink means, it's very clear lots of fandom doesn't even understand the gay-terminology they keep co-opting.

As if most of these people in fandom aren't gay or another type of queer and haven't heard the words being used by older gays. Maybe you oldbies should explain what the words mean instead of just using them and expecting them to understand? Or don't use them outside of your hand-picked circles of gay friends who have passed the Gay Language Test.
