Agree on all points, but: Joey Lucas! (Who should have been Jewish, like Marlee Matlin is, but I'll accept how she was written, she ruled when she was allowed to.) Joey King is the actress from Uglies.

I think... Aaron Sorkin tried to write a pushy, brilliant Jewish woman and he Just Couldn't figure out what to actually do with her, because his misogyny is weird but his discomfort with every Jewish woman he's ever known is apparently insurmountable. Signed, a lady Jew.

Ohhh that makes sense - I have had a long running joke about how Sorkin simply can't write brunettes (Mandy, Amy, Emily Mortimer's character from Newsroom) but never got more specific
