I think the tricky thing is there are multiple definitions of art, and not everyone is using it the same way. Art can mean broadly any creative creations. But there are also more narrow definitions that are equally valid depending on the context. I think people just should make clear which definition they are using. And also there needs to be more of a recognition of how subjective art is and that not everyone defines "bad" the same way and that is okay.
