There are different version of vampires, they aren't all dead. But I also totally get why this would be a squick.

I think Buffy scarred me. It seemed a big thing in fic for awhile to go on about Angel's cold quiet body as she snuggled up to him. It was supposed to be soecial and romantic but *shudder* Nope nope nope.
