Do you romance the aliens/non-humans?

I am all about every option other than boring human but at the end of the day it comes down to character personality for my romancing options in video games.

Comes down to personality and ship dynamics for me too, more than specifically going for an alien or human romance option.

I will romance anyone in baldur's gate because all of the nonhumans are way more interesting than basic ass human tav fuck off.

Yeah, same, for the most part.

As I sort of implied in the secret thread, I generally won't romance humans in cases when there are any other options...they're just...so much more boring. (Fallout 4 gets an exception, because you can romance ALL of them, and if I could ever bring myself to play a male character in any game that gave the option, I'd jump Jack from ME in half a second (I'll probably download the mod that allows FemShep to romance her next time I play). But mostly, nope.)

I'm definitely an outlier because I much prefer humans for romance. For non-humans it depends on how human-like they are. I'm fine with things like funky skintones, odd proportions and accessories, but completely non-human features are a no for me. So for example, I'm down to romance all of the non-human LIs in DA series and BG3 because they're all just modified humans, but I would never go for a ME's turian or krogan or salarian (I did romance Thane once, but he's still just about human enough for me)
