Re: What's the most money you've ever spent on a hobby?

I’m a backpacker and a crafter with a $17000 embroidery machine (plus MANY other sewing and embroidery and paper/vinyl machines). I do a lot of DIY, too. And by far the hobby that’s eaten the most of my money is Lego. My collection is valued at $150k. I often spent way less than the current value but I’ve also purchased so much furniture and storage options. My case for the Titanic alone was $700 (custom made of teakwood and glass with braided cord inlays on the wood and reclaimed antique brass fittings at the corners and for the handles).
If you want to never have money again, just start putting plastic blocks together.
