I mean, cheating is morally shitty, so being upset makes sense. But idk where the idea that Grohl is some pure good guy came from in the first place, or the shock and horror that idk a celebrity might cheat

I am generally shocked when people cheat, celebrity or not.

Maybe I'm jaded but "rock star cheats" is like "politician accepts bribes" to me

(Anonymous) 2024-10-05 08:31 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm not sure why, given how common it is.

I am sad for you.

(Anonymous) 2024-10-05 08:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Why would you be sad?

(Anonymous) 2024-10-05 11:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Because I blatantly ignore celebrity culture until I'm specifically looking for something to clutch my pearls over and I'm always sad when other people interact with the world differently from me.

da

The idea came from Grohl himself. He did a publicity tour a few years ago where he touted how much of a family man he was and how much time he spent on his family, which may have slowed down his career but made him soooo happy.

ohhh yeah, "wife guy cheats" is still a trope but that always makes me a lot more supportive of people who want to kick him in the balls.

(although, lol, "celebrity is a hypocrite" is also such a thing that it's barely worth noting...)
